Materials:
Knitting with both yarns together, cast on 18 stitches.
(18 is a very significant number in Jewish Numerology: 18 is Chai, meaning life.)
Knit for 26 rows.
Decrease by knitting two together across the next row (9 stitches)
Knit 26 rows
Increase by knit into the front and back of each stitch (18 stitches)
Knit 26 rows
Cast off.
Using the sportweight yarn, make fringe for the edges as desired.
