Default Okay you yarn pushers...

I mean wonderful women who continue to sell me yarn...your fantastic sales, dye jobs, yummy yarn and general great patterns...you all know who you are...

Well it has GOT TO STOP!

I am officially out of denial.

I used to laugh at all of you stashers, I only had one bin of wool and a little cotton. Well NOW I have 2 bins (66 qt/62.4L) FULL of WOOL and am waiting for a BIG box of yarn from LTK and other yarn too. Let's not talk about the kitchen cotton I have acculumated and the pattons that my GROCERY store carries.

I have a problem. I am on a yarn diet. I need to stop spending time with those other stupid hobbies that I love and KNIT. I need to use my stash.

I thought about selling some of it, but how could I part with any of it...I can't.

So the answer is, all you yarn sellers just reject my paypal payments! Theresa, I know that means that Greg probably won't be able to go to the good colleges, but I think state schools are okay right?!

Thanks.

oh, woman, you have no idea how badly I needed to laugh today!

But sorry, Greg's already got his slot waiting at Harvard, so you'll just have to rethink the budget

Heh.

I was thinking earlier today that I was really starting to work through my stash... Then it hit me, 1 oz. balls cannot compare to the 8 oz. cakes waiting for me...

Unfortunately, I am not of much help. I have discovered that as soon as I start to build up defenses, the perfect yarn walks into my life. At such a great value. And it bids me to purchase it. It calls, "TYW, I am cold and lonely! Will you not bring me into your warm and loving home?" And of course, I am too big hearted to let it sit unloved in a hard, gritty storefront.

Open your heart! Feel the yarn love! There are many yarns waiting to be adopted!

When I first started coming here I literally bought the yarn I needed for the current project and had nothing but hand me down acrylic from my Grandma composing my "stash". I used to be so jealous...Then I started to accumulate a nice little stash (thank you swap-a-rama). Then the whole "sticker shock" thing wore off and I realized that you get what you pay for and that I really enjoy some yarns better than others. I am becoming a snob with a stash so big that my brain is constantly filled with a "to knit" list.
Oh yeah, then Christmas season came and I started to buy yarn for gifts...some of which are just simply not going to be made

Well, I justify my stash as necessary for my yarn dyeing exploits. I gotta have all that blank yarn around! lol!
