I dunno. I use the m1 (thumb loop method) and knit into one stitch below increases most of the time. It really depends upon my mood. I go out to knittinghelp.com a lot to look at what they showcase. That's always fuN!

I like the ease of k front and back...But I like the look of m1 left and right...where you go down into the bar between the two stitches and knit (and you work it two different ways depending on if you want the slant to left/right.....I tinker with which to use where.....) This is the increase in the wonder pants.....
