Default As Requested...Flash your stash....

Okay, my stuff isn't all put into the closet yet...but here are my various totes. (NOTE: this doesn't include any of my wool/acrylic yarns or acrylics)

These are yarns awaiting projects and my mohair for which I have no plans

wooly love (12 gallon containers)

More wooly love

Cotton and cotton blends

peace fleece (although I think there may be a skein missing here)

Will add a 'full closet' shot when I am done.

I agree! Nice stash, Pam. I recently put mine in a glass door'ed double bookcase. I don't know if I could show a pic, I'm much too embarrassed about the amount of it all. I've never sold any of my stash. I think I need to prune a bit.

That's b/c sock yarn takes up less space....

I think this was a shock for me b/c I didn't realize how much yarn I actually had. (And when I moved yarn from my hope chest I found some stuff I had completely forgotten about)

I think you might actually have a bigger stash than me, and I didn't think that was possible. Well, personal stash anyway - we won't get into the biz yarn I've got here It'll all be dyed and sold, eventually

Thanks for making me feel better .....And part of my stash is YOUR FAULT. I bought peace fleece to make the 'swing thing' - I have knit one - and have LOTS Of yarn leftover.(Of course that beats the heck out of running out of yarn on a project)

I am thinking I need to get into the biz--just haven't figured out how/when/where.

K, here's my sock stash. If you go to my Flickr acct, there will be little boxes that appear when you move your mouse over the pics - details about the yarn are in the boxes.

wow, now my stash seems so much more normal! I don't remember if I posted this here when I organized it all (I've rearranged to put them all in bags and the bins now, this was just my getting organized so I could get it all into proper storage)

duplicates and matching trim are in back. undyed and "scraps" are in the bin at the top. Yarn from a swap to make a sweater for me is on top of the bins. I also have an entire box of wool ease that I bought to make an afghan, and some boucle (ICK! I should get rid of that stuff. . .) that I got to make a sweater then started a blanket and have left sitting for years.
I have closeups of all the compartments, but don't want to hog bandwidth so here is just the sock yarn:

I had to hurry and my camera hates me lately. These pics are not good. And this is only about 1/3-1/2 of my stash. Didn't dig out the last of my undyed stuff, odds and ends, few more skeins from dashing dachs and the cotton ease.

My Flickr if you go through, i added notes (to be cool like Patti.)

oh dear -- I'm afraid to post pictures of my stash now... course, I'd have to take them first...

BUT -- suffice for now to say -- I have two four-drawer sterillite sets, and FIVE 60+ gallon rubbermaid tubs -- all of them at least 3/4 full of yarn (most are actually completely full...)
