Default Hot Pants?!?!?!

Okay... my soakers knit in the round are not looking like soakers. They are looking like hot pants. They are too short to be shorties and too long to be soakers. Should I begin my decrease sooner? I need to frog a soaker. I just can't work up the courage... Maybe that will be a winter project since soakers won't be in use right now anyways...

Do you have pictures? It might be easier to make suggestions if we actually can see it.

You need to start doing the leg decreases sooner, so the leg opening begins higher.

Cool... thanks IrishBaby... I thought that might be my problem, but I didn't want to do so and have to frog again if that wasn't it...

What a cutie!! Does he have a low rise? That could be why following the pattern results in "hotpants" LOL! My DD had a low rise so everything had to be adjusted. My friend's DD has a really long rise and her longies are so cute...long on top with short little legs
