1. I have a pink leather wallet.

2. I have sensitive eyes and can't go outside without sunglasses. I panic if I can't find them.

3. I hate reading things that are written in pencil.

4. I have 5000 labels coming today from the printer and I am SO excited. Way more excited than anyone should be about labels.

5. We just had a tree cut down in our yard, and the dummy who did it brought too small of a chainsaw, so he couldn't cut it to the ground. So there is now a 3-1/2 foot stump sticking up. It looks ridiculous.

6. I love to shop for my DD, but I only do two major shopping trips a year for my DS. One in the spring and one in the fall. Boys clothes are not as fun.

7. I would love to have 4 or 5 kids, but that will never happen.

8. My mom broke her foot this weekend by tripping over the dog and falling down two steps.

9. I swear I have some kind of magnetic force that attracts weirdos. If there is someone who is mentally off within a six block radius, they will find me and want to interact with me. How do I turn that off?

10. I love baby names, even though I will probably never have another child. I've loved them since I was a child -- I would check out baby name books from the library at like age 11.

11. My first car was a gold Toyota Tercel hatchback. With no radio and doors that didn't lock. It had like 150,000 miles on it when I bought it for $500. But that thing ran like nobody's business. It ALWAYS started, even when it was 40 degrees below zero. Too bad there were holes in the floor.

12. I am a coffee snob. It has to be the good stuff with real cream or nothing at all.

13. I love iced tea, unsweetened, and drink it all summer long.

14. My DH is gone most of the summer.

15. I was a very picky eater as a child and am learning to like foods I never thought I would. Like cucumbers. And stuff.

16. I became a vegetarian at age 16 and didn't eat meat for four years, and didn't eat any red meat for eight. I also discovered it is possible to be a veg and live on breakfast cereal, ice cream, and french fries. Vegetables are not really necessary!

17. My neighbors across the street (we live on a cul-de-sac) just bought a HUUUUUUGE RV. It's almost hard to get by on the street, it's so big.

18. My next door neighbor is a fireman and has a dalmation. His buddies from the fire station come pick him up for work in a huge ladder truck. They all pile in, kind of like, "Let's take this baby out for a spin!" When they get here, they honk the horn repeatedly until he comes out and joins them.

19. My DS is just now getting to the age where every other mommy is the nice mommy. They all let their kids eat cookies and junk and watch TV all day long, and I do not. (According to him.) Therefore, I am not the nice mommy.

20. My DS knows about 20 words of Spanish and thinks he speaks it fluently. He'll say, "Mommy, do you want me to teach you Spanish? OK, grande means big and pequeno means small. Rojo is red and Verde is green... there, now you know Spanish too."

Davina....I'm probably just boring too, but this looked like fun...

1. I was born in Germany
2. I am not German, I'm proud to be an American! (insert flag smilie, which we don't have)...
3. I'm an Army Brat. Yes, my mama wore combat boots.
4. I've gone to 6 different schools (2 different high schools).
5. One of my legs is shorter than the other.
6. I'm self-taught knit and crochet. Self Taught crochet when I was in High School. Can ya tell I was the "popular" one??
7. I'm the oldest of 6 girls. Well, actually if you count the entire blended family I'm #3 out of 8 GIRLS.
8. I'm half Yankee, half Redneck. But consider myself Westerner.
9. I am NOT a morning person, however, since having children sleeping past 8am is a HUGE luxury (and VERY infrequent, like maybe once a year)..
10. I was the girl who loved picking out kids' names when I was younger. Now I'm so picky when it comes to names for my children. I have a list of requirements...
11. I love to be in the water. I always have.
12. I was a GOOD swimmer in High School. I joined the swimming team because my friend did (and asked me to join her). I loved it and swam all 4 years (longer than her, btw). I was a backstroker.
13. I did backstroke because I could breathe when I wanted to.
14. I've driven the ALCAN Highway once, was the passenger the other time.
15. I hate summer in AZ. I wish I could move somewhere cooler. I'd love to be a bird, live someplace cool in the summer (like Alaska) and AZ in the winter.
16. I don't care for the birds here, as they don't know how to drive..
17. I didn't get my driver's license until I was 18, and had graduated high school.
18. I am not a good housekeeper. There are so many things I'd rather do. My dh is a much better housekeeper than I am. I don't cook all that well either.
19. I was a Latch-Key kid for several years.
20. I love new projects. I've got the "shiney new penny" syndrome.

Hugs,
tammy

Okay, I'll play. I'm way boring, so be warned

1. My dh went to cooking school and never cooks. He's a mailman.
2. 11 years later, I'm still paying off the student loans for it.
3. I think E85 is not the answer as you still need fuel to refine the corn into ethanol.
4. I can't stand the sound of listening to people type who hunt and peck.
5. I secretly think my oldest son is a high functioning autistic. He drives me nuts.
6. I'd rather be doing anything else but cleaning this house, but I force myself to do it anyway.
7. I make my kids put their own laundry away, make their own beds, and load their own dishes into the dishwasher. They're 7, 5, and 3.
8. I never think I"m a good mom.
9. My husband is the only person I ever dated.
10. My in laws hate me.
11. I wanted to be a figure skater when I was little.
12. My mom told me I couldn't take skating lessons because I was too fat. This was easier for her to admit than that she didn't have the money for it.
13. My mom is mean.
14. Because my dh has a one hour commute and uses his own car to deliver the mail, we use like 225 gallons of gas a month.
15. I feel guilty about it because I feel like I'm giving money to terrorists and corrupt governments. I panic when the price of gas goes up. It's $2.59 a gallon in NJ and I'm scared.
16. I wouldn't be scared if we didn't have a car payment ($445) that was almost as much as our mortgage. I hate that car payment. I'm not crazy about the car either. It has two steering wheels so dh can deliver the mail. The one I sit in front of (passenger side) has no airbag. I'm terrified of dying in a car crash and leaving my kids behind.
17. I use the money I make knitting to try to pay off the car faster.
18. I can't drive. I am blind in my left eye and have no depth perception. I took behind the wheel in high school and failed it. Twice. I get jealous when I see people with out arms or legs or who are paralyzed driving. This makes me feel like a horrible person. I feel bad for my kids that their mom can't drive and they can't go all the places and do all the things they'd like to.
19. I love Scrabble and all word games. All games really. We have too many of them and when I buy them, I feel guilty like I should have put that money toward the car.
20. I yell at my kids too much.

ok, but I think I'm boring too

1. I was born in Hawaii.

2. I'm an army brat too.

3. I have 7 brothers, I am the only girl.

4. My oldest two children are from a previous marriage. I was married and divorced with two kids before I was 21.

5. I met my husband online, playing a video game called Everquest.

6. After we got married, he legally adopted my oldest kids.

7. I haven't been knitting very long, like less than 2 years

8. I have PCOS and Insulin resistance and I can't seem to lose any weight because of it.

9. I just discovered Jello pudding pops are back and it makes me giddy.

10. My 23mo old talks more than my other two kids did at 3-4 yrs old, its crazy that I can have a complete conversation with her, in complete sentences

11. My mother thinks her only goal as a grandmother is to "bake cookies" with my kids and feed them junk food even when I ask her to stop, its funny to her, to see how pissed off I can get.

12. I won't allow my kids to have overnights at her house anymore, and she thinks I am evil because of it.

13. She put NAIR on my 11yr olds legs, with out talking to me first, and now my 11yr old wants to shave her legs (she never even considered it until my mother told her that there was something wrong with them) because she thinks the hair is now "gross" like grammy said

14. I have issues with my mom, can you tell?

15. My husband is a D&D nerd, and has games here every other weekend, we also play the new D&D online game together every evening. Guess that makes me a nerd too?

16. I love my mother in law, I think she is an amazing woman, and I respect her so much, she raised 3 wonderful kids who are just great to be around.

17. My husbands entire family lives in a 5 mile radius of us, parents, grandparents (both sets) aunt, uncle, cousins, brother and sister.

18. I am glad my house is the smallest, I don't have to host anything, ever

19. I too, am a very bad housekeeper and it never fails that I can spend hours and hours cleaning this house and NO one stops by but the moment its a wreck, everyone seems to appear on my doorstep.

20. My period is late. And I am scared.

This is the first time I have been able to sit at the computer w/o a nak kid, so here it goes:

1. I am a chemist by schooling and I really miss it.

2. I am a scientist for a pharmaceutical company.

3. I want more kids (at least one) but I don't think DH does...at least not for awhile.

4. I am knitting my first adult sweater right now, of course who starts a wool (PF) sweater in the beginning of spring! It does get cold at work and it is a cardigan, so I think I will be able to wear it before winter...

5. I knit more for my friend Lynda's family than I do my own (and it isn't diapering stuff).

6. I kinda enjoy housecleaning, I just don't do it very often.

7. DH and I have been together for almost 11 years.

8. I am going to be 35 in July and I am not too happy about it.

9. I need to lose weight...at least 30 pounds and I refuse to diet. That does make weight loss more difficult.

10. I am so very tired of tandem nursing. My daughter is over 1 now and DS is almost 3.5 yrs. old. I would like to go more than 2 hours on the weekends w/o nursing someone. Add that to working 50+ hours a week outside the home, that makes for one TIRED mama!

11. I am glad Lent is over tomorrow, I so NEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDD chocolate.

12. I buy too much yarn.

13. I have my college crest tatooed on my ankle

14. I like really strong hoppy beer (IPAs) and am drinking one now

15. We homebrew beer, but I've only liked one batch so far.

16. I work with DH. We see each other all the time, and I actually really like it. He is funniest during the day at work. Sometimes he comes over to my desk and we alugh so hard I cry...my coworkers think we are cute/strange.

17. I taught my mom to knit last year and she loves it.

18. I go scrapbooking once a week and I don't really like it, but it is time out of the house. (I am almost caught up though!)

19. DH hates cloth diapers.

20. My newest hobby is jewelry making and I love it.
