Default Another question for you all...

I'm finishing up the pattern that I'm planning on submitting to Knitty. It's a top-down baby bootie/sock with a split cuff. I've been thinking more and more about it and wondering if the cuff is too fussy. It's knit in seed/moss stitch with several decreases so there are well-defined points at each end (think shirt collar) and then joined to start the ribbing. The fussieness comes in in the fact that it's written for 2 circs (with instructions for 5 dpn's). Since the split is in the center front, you have to do some rearranging to get it on the needles correctly - nothing requiring rocket science, just a bit of a pain. The cuff is super cute and really contributes to the design. So what do you think? Would this be something off-putting to you? Should I ditch it and just go with a plain ribbed cuff?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

maybe include both options? I've seen that on more than one knitty pattern.

The cuff idea sounds lovely -- kinda setting it apart from other bootie patterns. But including a simpler plain ribbed cuff option would be good too. Good luck!

Yes it will be very beautiful for me but i think if You you use a plain ribbed cuff it will be more presentable.
