Hi, you used Caron Simply soft and got the gauge? What size needle did you use? I have a ton of it! It may be cheap, but it's soft and "smooth" on the needles. I find it easy to work with by hand and on my knitting machines. Many opportunities for cool knuks if I can get the gauge.
Thanks |

Knucks can really be knit in any yarn, just rewrite to the new gauge for the correct size. If you don't know how to do this, show the pattern and the yarn you want to use to an experienced knitter and they'll show you how to do the knitter math. I've done mine in everything from Jo Sharp Silk Road Aran Tweed and Araucania Nature Wool Chunky to my handspun sock yarns.

I just finished my first knuck and I used Moda-Dea's Sassy Stripes in Swish. It is a self-striping acrylic yarn that is machine washable but you have to let it air dry. Can't find my stupid camera right now but when I do I will put up a pic.

I did mine with our dk weight BFL. The only problem with that is that it's not machine washable... but they're heavenly soft.
