I am thinking Friday Lunch? Who would be available for that, or propose a different time?

I'm going, too! But I'm a vendor, so my schedule isn't that flexible. What about a Thursday lunch meetup? That's before the marketplace opens.

Cool! So maybe we can go to Kenny and Zukes for lunch on Friday - NY style deli that is one thing I cannot miss in Portland. That work for folks?

I need to start making a calendar for myself so I don't forget what I'm doing.

Now, anyone else staying downtown? I'm getting ready to book a downtown hotel and would like to stay near others to take the max together, and for general good times. Not staying at Ace Hotel or Jupiter because they are pet-friendly and my asthma is Not. Boo hoo.

Yeah, well, since all the affordable places are taken at the cc, I'm headed for the downtown area. thinking Mariott for us. (My sister is going to explore Portland) Thurs thru Sun AM for me. . .

I saw, but only called the ones that were near the cc. I need to chat with my sis, to make final arrangements. But the Marriot had decent rates, without a SS group rate. . . And we really just need a clean place to lay our heads anyway. . .

Darnit, I went to make my reservation, and the prices had gone up, significantly! So, I had to do a little more research, and still ended up at the
Portland Marriott City Center

The Nines has a similar rate, and I think the Mark Spencer rate was about the same.
