Hope to see you all there! I'm excited. Is anyone working on the legs of pants? I want to make Pam's PP but I can't get my brain around the idea of 2 circulars.:nut I am horrible at counting and sometimes my gauge gets messed up if I do one side and then the other later, like some mittens I made. One is considerable larger than the other!!

That's why I do the magic loop. You need one big circular & you don't have to count rows or worry about gauge being off because your knitting both legs at the same time.

Ugh, the joys of a non-driving teenager. I have to miss it, cause I have to play chauffeur for my son's swim team practice. Why they have to have practice on a national holiday I will never know, but they do. Of course, the moms all work, so I was graciously volunteered to ferry 3 of them.

It's over an hour away, I think. Gig Harbor is across the bridge from Tacoma, right? You need one of these :ufo to beam you on over! Mukilteo is south of Everett, across from Whidbey Island.

Jesse, yes that is a heck of a drive from Gig Harbor & three kids in tow. I definitely understand (my grandma lives in Port Orchard have driven that drive ;) ).

Aauurrgghh...I don't think we can.

We just drove home from Portland last nigh and I think ds will melt down if he sees that carseat again so soon...and we are both sick now :(

Ellie woke up last night with croup :( Ugh. I'll be there next monday, unless I am at a birth.

And guess what ladies I tried but could not make it :( :( :(

I got onto the freeway and as I merged 522 to 405 my van started shaking like crazy. I got off on Beardslee and checked visually and couldn't see anything so I attempted to get on the freeway again on to hit 50 mph and my van was shaking tremendously EEK! So I got off at Canyon Park and took the backroads home thankfully phew!

My DH is going to check it tonight driving is fine but once I hit 40 mph it starts to shake and then 50 mph it makes me crazy worried.

So I'm definitely coming next week as long as my VAN works EEK!

I'm sorry Liane for not making it :( I tried real hard to make it and I have no idea about backroads to Mukilteo.

Yes, I'm very glad we weren't standed along the side of the road :nut I was praying the whole way home we'd make it safely and we sure did. My cell phone died last week and waiting to get another so I would have been not happy if I'd been stranded with my kids in the van.

So how many people were able to make it today? And whoopsy on staying long. Was it the next person that wanted the room that was upset?

I think there were around 5 moms today, and can't ever keep track of the number of kids.

And yes, the woman that was using the room next looked sort of peeved. But who knows, maybe she just acts that way all the time. ?
