I can't believe I actually sewed a diaper! I had no idea that I had it in me. lol!

It took me all afternoon to make one fitted, but it turned out great. I even got the leg elastic in tight enough! DS likes the firetruck print flannel too.

It's from the VB AIO pattern. I watched my mom sew a couple of fitteds from this pattern back when she bought it for me in Nov, but I'd been too skeered to try it on my own. I finally bought some cheap flannel and figured if I screwed it up I'd only be out a couple of bucks.

Now I'm so impressed with myself I can't wait to make another tomorrow!

Uh oh, I can seriously see this cutting into my knitting time... How's a girl to choose? lol!

ETA: the legs look a little wonky in the pic, but they're not. I was just snapping pics very quiclky b/c ds wanted it on, NOW! ;)

I love it! You did a great job! My first diaper (with a pattern) I forgot to put front or back elastic in! ROFL! Talk about an ill fitting diaper! It looks great!

Your diaper looks awesome! Beware, sewing your own diapers can become very addictive! DH had to build me a shelving system to keep all my fabrics organized when I rediscovered sewing via diaper making! And then I just had to learn how to knit so I could make all those cute little wooly bums as DD1 calls them. It's always my dilemma when I have free time... sew a diaper or knit a wooly bum??? :nut
