Patons Classic Merino Wool Yarn?

I saw this at Joann Etc. last night. Is it a good wool for soakers and/or pants? :D

I have used it. It is a bit thinner than other worsted weight yarns, so some mamas feel that it is a bit too thin. But for daytime use it is generally OK. It does tend to get a bit pilly too. But overall I think its a nice yarn.

I didn't realize Joanns had it. I've been looking at a place online that's having a sale, but their shipping is pretty pricey so I haven't ordered any.

It's GREAT for felting!!! I have heard from many different sources that it doesn't wear well when knitted though. It gets all those little bumps (brain-freeze right now on the correct name) so for soakers it might not be too bad but for shorts/pants, you might not want to see all those bumps.
