Hi! I have knit several LTK soakers and the pattern says to single crochet around the legs to give it a clean look. Well, it always seems to add a lot to the leg making the leg hole much smaller. So tonight I was finishing one up and instead of wrapping, pulling the hook through, wrapping and pulling through the two loops I wrapped, pulled the hook through and instead of wrapping again I just pulled the loop on my hook straight through the one loop on the hook. Does that make sense? It layed down much nicer and didn't add much to the leg. Is that okay? It looks very nice. Before that edge was standing up quite a bit but now lays down.

:) Yes, it makes sense. You have done a slip stitch (slst) from the sounds of it (essentially 1/2 a single crochet). The only thing I would caution you is slst is a bit tighter than sc and can pull the garment in. As long as you remember to keep your work a bit loose you should be fine. :)

Hugs,
tammy
