I know I am getting money for Christmas and I need to stock up my yarn stash again so I need some help picking things out.
I'm a more bang for you buck kinda chick so keep that in mind.
What would you recommend in the wool or other natural fiber category? I've love hand dyeds but most of those are out of my price range.
I was thinking mostly Peace Fleece.

Hm, peace fleece is a good one... or something from KnitPicks... maybe the WOTA or Merino Style? If you "stocked up" there, you could maybe reserve some to get some lovely hand dyed from Little Turtle Knits or Wooly Wonders by Nada, or Dashing Dachs, or Beemer Knits... that could be your "extra special" gift to yourself...
Irish Baby Knits has some great new merino, too -- and her prices, I think, are VERY reasonable...

Have you tried Blackberry Ridge or Cascade Eco? Eco is really a great bargain, and I like it better then Peace Fleece.
I second Cascade Eco. One skein goes a looong way; you can get it at www.onefineyarn.com
I also second Knit Picks - I can get TONS of yarn from them for amazing prices, and I'm really happy with the quality of the yarn. It isn't top of the line, but it isn't bargain basement, either.

How about some wota from knitpicks, and some dyes from Dharma? Then you can have the best of both worlds- more bang for your buck yarn & handpainted!! You can get a few colors of dye, the basics, and mix them easily to get lots more colors. And the handpainting is fun & fairly easy

I agree....but I am spending it on a book....the Knitted Embelishment book by Nicky Epstien...I cannot wait to learn to do frog closures....
