This evening I was surprised by a GORGEOUS little soaker made from lavender and periwinkle Peace Fleece!!! :love THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!

It couldn't have come on a better day, either. I learned today that my sister will be entering hospice care. :( My baby is still not yet here, and I do have to wait the 2 weeks before I can fly with hir. I'm just hoping on all hopes that I will still have time to see her.

It really means soooo much to me that someone was thinking of me and my little babe. I hope the joy is returned to you threefold, oh knitting fairy.

Oh and hospice care is a wonderful service --which we all hope we never need. I am glad that your sister does have that available to her. I am so sorry that you have to go through this from so very far away......

I would caution that not ALL hospice care is good. My mama was in hospice care, and because of her experience there my sister (this one) swore it off completely... that is why it is soooo traumatic now.

I do agree that the basic model of hospice care is a kind and humanitarian one. We just didn't get to experience that first hand with my mom, and it brings me fear for my sister... especially since I am SO far away!

(anyway, I'm sorry for going on... it is an issue still very very fresh in my heart.)
