so, i'm almost done with my tool set. one major problem. the phillips head screwdriver keeps coming out looking...um..."nasty". ;) how can i get the little ridges for the tip? or, would i be better off to just stick with the flat screwdriver and not worry about having one of each in the set?

i don't know how you're doing the shaft so i'm not sure how to advise you. is it your cast on end or bind off end?

it can be either, marnie. i have two ways to do the handle.

I'd probably just do a straight tube and then use the same yarn and embroider 4 striaght lines down from the tip to make the ridges. pull the lines tight to bunch the stitches underneath :)
