Just seeing if any of you live around east TN.
I'm north of Knoxville so doing lots of hiking at House Mountain!

Hey, Trishy, I'm in Winchester, KY! Just about an hour North of you. We should meet up in Berea sometime. I really like the Kentucky Artisan Center there. http://www.kentuckyartisancenter.ky.gov/ Have you been? They have some really pretty handspun mohair yarn there.

Sara, I haven't been but I have really wanted to go! I wasn't really sure if it was a place that was ok for kids or not and I am rarely away from the two wild things for very long.

lactationmom, that is strange about your phone not getting service! I have a prepaid cell that I carry for emergencies only and have had problems south of Corbin to around Williamsburg and east of here but everywhere else it is pretty reliable.

I take my two in often. I usually have Colton in the sling and Aaron can be trusted to act nicely most of the time. There is a section where they have some breakables displayed, but I usually hurry through that area since it's all too expensive for my budget anyway! Then there is another area with lower priced items where I browse around. They also have a really nice 'restaurant'. It's all "home-cooked" Southern food and is pretty good. IIRC the prices aren't too high either. They're open every day from 8-8.

Ok, I have seen that art center for years now but never stopped in, will have to next time I head up to Indiana (next month).

My cell phone doesn't work *somewhere* around you, not sure exactly, just know it's where I am surrounded by ROCKS :). Does that pinpoint it? :)

Lovely area, so remote though! I know there's a town around there somewhere, just can't see anything but miles of horse farms and beautiful hills on the drive.
