The title says it all- is it man-made or natural? I just have no idea.

Thanks.

Fleece is a petroleum-based product. So in a sense, it's natural in that the raw material comes from the earth. But it's quite refined, and most don't consider to be a natural fiber.

Yes, polyester fleece is not a natural material. But there is also hemp fleece, which is a blend of cotton and hemp and also cotton fleece. Most people are talking about poly fleece when they say fleece though.

Okay....this does eventually lead to "other crafts" if I can can my head around an idea..... I am assuming this cover is not natural as in dyeable with fiber reactive dyes: http://www.bummis.com/en/Products/covers/PolarBummi.html

Thanks again:)

Nope, you have to have some super dee duper heavy duty stuff to dye poly fleece. Any diaper cover made of fleece is poly fleece.
