new to knitting and this forum

:wave my name is Tami and I am a SAHM with 3 kiddos. I am very new to knitting, I just purchased the supplies for my first project :dance. I bought the EWS pattern and have high hopes that it will fit my very chunky 7.5 month old girl. I bought some fishermans yarn, dyed it with :koolaid (it turned out salmon colored), got the recommended knitting needles and am now ready to start. Now if I could just understand the pattern and convince my baby that I need time to knit, I would be in good shape :lol:

when you get a chance to look at the directions...be sure and post any questions. Lost of us here to help out. Usually there is someone around who can "reword" or clarify and spot you find a bit confusing.
