Hello everyone...I joined like, 6 new forums in one day (this one included) and forgot to post an intro...
here it is :D
Im Michelle, wife of Jody, mama of Sunshine(almost 11) and Hunter (almost 1). We live in Salem Oregon, and I took up knitting around the first of the year. Ive been doing alot of nothing, except a TON of scarves, and a few handbags. Most of which have been given away...LOL. This is not the cheap little hobby I thought it would be no way no how. Anyway, Im here to learn more about knitting and other fiber arts...I'd love to learn to crochet more than a single long chain(which I do marvelously by the way, so if anyone needs any strings.......)
I recently inherited a truckload of fabric from my grandma...her entire stash in fact, and so Ive got piles and piles of quilters fabric in every shade and pattern. I've been making some great handbags out of some of it, and some toys...Mostly trying to get it organized so it isnt taking over my home anymore. My poor boy doesnt have a room of his own...*giggle* Oh well, its not like he sleeps in there anyway.
So, I recently started cloth diapering, and am LOVING the Wool Soaker that I got from one of my S&B friends...*I think I saw you around here somewhere Megan???* Anyway, I finally lanolized it and it is THE most amazing thing ever. He doesnt leak at night!!!! YAYYYYYYYYY. I need more. I need to learn to make them and that is why I am here. *smiles* Sorry for my babblyness.
