With help from Amy, (a lot of instruction, she walked me through one and I made these with her instructions), look what I made!

Cute! Are they pockets or fitteds?

oh, sorry I should have said! they are pockets, fleece pockets to go under my wool (200 wt). I have cotton pockets and velour pockets too but Jesse's thighs were getting irriated from having wet cotton or velour against her inner thigh all night. I'm making 7. :)

Those look great! Did you use a pattern or make up your own?
Colton is growing out if his Daddy/babysitter AIOs and I cannot afford to buy several more, so my wonderful mother said she'd buy the VB pattern and supplies to make 12 pockets! She's gonna help me make them too! I decided to go with pockets because I have trouble getting the internal soakers clean on my AIOs and I hate that they take forever to dry...
I am also planning on making a few fitteds with the same pattern after I figure out how difficult diaper making is... I can't wait!

ok, it IS the very baby pattern, only I altered it. It's the size large but I narrowed it by about 1/4. Not narrowed it's WIDE.
In case this helps for sizing reference, here is it next to my snap ez

and here it is next to my LG APRONSTRINGS

Yep, I'm thinking of doing the same thing with the narrowing... My ds is showing a little crack in the mediums he has now. LOL! I know that the VB WAHMs offer the M/L size, but I didn't see where that size is included in the pattern. So, I was going to take the medium and add to the rise or take the large and make it narrower (is that a word?). I'm going to do whichever my mom thinks is easier, since she's the expert seamstress!
Thanks so much for sharing your diapers and thoughts on the pattern. My pattern/supplies are supposed to arrive next week, but my mom will be out of town next weekend, so we may not get around to sewing them until Thanksgiving...

I do not have a snap press, that's why I used aplix. Amy offered to snap them for me but I decided that I would just do aplix as that way I could do it all myself and have them DONE and not bother her, you know? (she has her own diaper business, Baybee, so that's why she has a press)
