This is for the swap. I don't have grape kool aid, but can I get a nice purple w/ regular food dye? So far it's not looking too hot on my swatch.
Help!

Ok, I found one packet of grape kool aid. So far it doesn't look very grape-y. I also have red and blue wilton's. Maybe I'll experiment w/ that later... or maybe I will do green grapes. ;)

I usually use Wilton's purple. It does tend to separate but it might actually look really nice for grapes :)

Well my attempts at purple looked pukey so I went for green grapes instead ;)

Did you try the Wilton's? I get awesome purples with Violet. I can get many pretty shades...

Amy~ I only have red and blue Wilton's so I didn't try the violet. I will get some though next time I see it!

I got an okay purple by mixing berry blue and cherry koolaid. I don't know if it's grape-y, though. :)
