So I have been a crochet fiend lately, surprise surprise, and stumbled upon this at crochetville.org Felted Crochet Covers
http://www.graftonfibers.com/feltedhookhandle.htm

I also just bought some Clovers as they were 50% off, not sure if I like them yet, they are shorter then the Boye and Bates...

Thoughts?

I think it'd be cool, however, I don't use those evil little hooks ;) Those things kill my hands! The actual crocheting w/them (I can never get the tension right)

Hugs,
tammy

It took me a couple days to get used to my clovers, but now I LOVE them. I can't use a regular hook now, my son wandered off with one of my clovers and I had to use a metal one to finish something up. Ick.

I have some wool fibers hanging around, maybe I'll give a felted cover a try. Thanks!

My hooks don't hurt my hands - so while that looks cool, it's not something I'd try. I've never used clover hooks.

I have the Clovers in 3 sizes, guess which three ;), I got them 50% off and ehh, I feel like they are a bit too short, BUT my hand does cramp less when I am sitting and doing something for about an hour interruption free Bwa-Ha Ha Ha

I have 1 clover that is bamboo and I use it sometimes. My favorites are the Bates. Funny thing is, I only have 2 bates hooks...but in the sizes I use the most, G and H. I have some boye, but only use them as backups. I don't think I would felt a handle. Also, I don't have any steel hooks and that looks like the type of hook she is felting.
