OK, I found this yarn in the bargain bin and brought it home since the label said "100% virgin wool". Upon closer inspection, the label says that it is "machine washable in luke warm water". So, will this work for a soaker? The content is 100% wool, but the machine washable info has me wondering if it has been treated somehow. Help me out yarn gurus :chin
Just for reference, this yarn is from Colorado Yarns.

There are some wools that can be machine washed even though they are untreated. Columbia wool is like that. It's just naturally a very durable wool. Then again, it might be superwash. Hard to say. Did you do a web search on Colorado yarns?

Superwash is chemically treated to strip the scales naturally found along the wool, so that it won't felt when it rubs against itself. It works for soakers from what I understand, but I haven't used it myself
