I want to knit a sweater for Caroline this fall.

I've had this link bookmarked for quite awhile now.
http://geocities.com/knitwits_heaven/baby_sweater.html
The free pattern has just been taken down and is now $4.50, plus $2 shipping if you want a hard copy. That isn't a bad price, but if I need to buy a pattern I wonder if there might be something better? Any suggestions?
I really liked this one piece design for minimal sewing. :)

Looks like the one from LTK. The easy peasy sweater pattern... except I think the little turtle knits one has buttons down the front.

can't get that link to load for me, says it's over bandwidth, but mine is a one piece construction :)

I just want to second the Easy Peasy sweater from LTK. I'm on my second one, and I am a *very* novice knitter! The instructions are very detailed, and the sweater knits up pretty quickly! It does have buttons, but you don't even need to make buttonholes! :)

Karen,

If you are still wishing to knit the pattern you had bookmarked here it is:
http://web.archive.org/web/20020613090030/http://geocities.com/knitwits_heaven/baby_sweater.html

This time do save it on your computer so you can access it when ever you want. ;) Patterns online have a tendency to disappear, so I try to always save patterns I like to my computer. :)
