SO I have the contest entries and I need to organize them into something attractive and share the entries with Marnie so we can vote. I hope to do that tonight!

I want to get the contest judged and the patterns posted so y'all can start knitting your own bags!

Careful of the laptop- my boss's likes to turn of everytime we grab it by the screen to turn it, and my friends son seems to have jumped on theirs in the couch adn broke the wireless thingie.

Patti: there is a setting in your user cp where you can set it to show smilies. Maybe you have smilies disabled?

Yes but we aren't in it for the prizes - It is the thrill of being publishe! (Of course prizes and the adoring praise of hundreds of WW mamas isn't bad either!)

Oh, I see that my first initial is already the sppllll face.

I had fun making the bags. I can easily add those to my repertoire. The question is, where to sell them? I like the idea of making one of a kind ones, too, because repetition is kind of like the Chinese Water Torture for me...

Funny you should ask! :D I have a donation for an awesome school up in Sacramento, Sierra Nueva High School (Cal-SAFE). I met Sue (the Cal-SAFE coordinator&teacher) at the LLL conference a couple weeks back, and she teaches pregnant teens sewing and crafting to make items for the babies. I donated a bunch of my fabric to a couple of WAHMs at the conference, and am giving the rest to Sue's program.

I was just about to email Radish, Muggins&Doody, and NorCalMommy (after checking in here, of course) to see if they would be up for a playdate/knitting get together. I figured I could drop off the fabric at the same time. :)

Did a web search. I can walk to that school in 10 min from my house! 5 if we meet on the track or the football field. LOL. But it would take about a month to get my house ready for kids, so playing here is out. :( I gotta get on the FlyLady bandwagon again. Serious CHAOS...
