but I want to learn to knit. My name is Kim, I'm a sahm and I have 3 kids- 4, 3, and 1 1/2.....the lure of custom longies anytime is getting to me :) I bought "knitting for dummies" a few days ago (sounded like the book I need :cool: ) and I have some needles and yarn. Now what do I do? LOL...I'll be reading!

I bought knitting for dummies too, 6 wks ago and then got the Wooly wonders soaker pattern! (love it) Before, I knew how to cast on (simple cast on) and do a garter stitch. THAT IS IT. This is the first thing I've ever completed. Ok, well, I made ONE before this (right before) but it was ugly and full of mistakes, but this was my second).

You can do it if I can!
