CP waist band and PP pattern

I'm just slightly confused with the Curly Purly waistband. I'm doing the perfection pants pattern. Do I need to add the short rows at the back still? Any help would be appreciated! TY so much!

No, you don't have to add short rows. It should be covered since the CP waistband has so much ribbing... just add an inch or two to the total rise. HTH

I think Pam and Marnie are working on a pattern right now that incorporates the zig-zag rib and the CP waistband. It is a little confusing to figure out so I think you should be okay without them.

Thanks so much for your help. :) I couldn't quite understand it. My DD is getting to the point where she has found the drawstring and likes to pull on it so I thought this would be the better route. Sounds like it's also the easier route. :D
