ok, i'm trying to teach myself to sew and use a serger, so i thought i'd start with diapers, doublers, liners, and wipes. i've made 2 pocket diapers and i really love them!!!!! i've made them super trim though, kind of a problem ( hard to stuff em) so, now i'm thinking i'll try making an AIO? the thing is i hate PUL, it's too hot and humid down here to use it. so, i'm using fleece.......

i also don't own an AIO, would just fleece work? what do you all think?

I'll post pics later!
thanks !

I am, by no means, a diaper making expert, but I know of some mamas who make AIOs out of fleece.... like 200 or 300 mil weight, I think. Or Windpro. So it will work as long as it is heavy enough.

So I guess don't go get the Joann's stuff unless you want a fitted with fleece on the outer.

I've made them using fleece. My advice is to wash them in sportwash so you don't lose the DWR on the fleece or get build-up on your absorbent material. Otherwise, they work great.

We make WindPro AIOs and they work great. HoneyBoy diapers use WP as well and people love them, so yes, fleece is a great option. I would use WP if you can. 200wt fleece won't look nice for long and can pressure wick.

HTH!
