I bought some yarn in the clearance section of the craft store and am having trouble figuring out what to do with it. I was going to make hats for the kids but can't find a pattern I am happy with and thought I would see if anyone has any ideas. It is this stuff http://www.tahkistacycharles.com/Yarns/yarns_detail.asp?CatID=1&ID=182&New=False&pg=17 and I only have straight needles to work with. I don't have a circ or DPN's in the right size for it. I have 2 balls in 2 different colors for a total of 4 balls that would not be good together. Anyone know of a pattern I could do with this yarn? I am not so good at "winging it" so I need directions. Thanks ladies :mwah

So right after posting this I had a major "DUH" moment  I borrowed one of those plastic loom things with the pegs on it from my 6 year old and made a hat :D I am so happy with how it turned out. All I need now is a pom pom on top. It even fits my dd. Yahooo!! Now I need to do something with the other 3 skeins ;)
Davina, I made the girls little matching felted purses from the teeny tiny felted tote pattern last week between park day and knitting night or I would be all over that idea :) They just need buttons for them now. I love how cute they are. I really need to get some pics up.
