Hey all!
I have been working with Pamela on our letters for current business partners and potential business partners. The letters are now complete.
I have sent out letters to all current business partners, and need suggestions for WAHMs you would like to see as business partners. :) Please give me the WAHM's name, business name, contact email address and business URL.
Currently, I have Michele of Bum Wrap as a proposed business partner, and that is it.
Our current business partners are:
Bailey's Britches 'N More
Bungalow Buns
Dandelion Dreamers
Doodles Jewels
Fabric Connection
Full Moon Baby Gear - already confirmed to continue!!!
Holy Sheep Yarns
Indelible Impressions
Little Turtle Knits
PeachyCheeks
Precious Dignity
The Fabric Farm
Sit On Knits
SnuggleBum™ Baby
The Knitty Kitty
Wonderful Woolies
Wooly Wonder - Duh! ;)
Go to it gals! Who would you like special treatment from? :D

Okay, so no one has any suggestions??? If everyone on the committee gives me just one name of a business they like, we would have 10 new prospective business partners.
So far I have had two WAHMs email me themselves with interest.

offering some kind of discount or 'special' to forum paid members.
for example, free shipping, 10% off orders, etc.
see here for last years:

basically, it's free advertising for wahms. :LOL

Yes, you can definitely post a copy here. People dont need apersonal invitation to join, so maybe that's a good way to reach a lot of people!
You can do a mass PM or email to all the wahm biz usergroup members. Not precisely sure if that's in your regular mailbox or in the admin cp. LMK if you need help.

Okay, here it is:
Dear <<business owner>> ,
Over at Wooly Wonder Forums we're talking about wool soakers and all aspects of yarn crafts. We have close to 600 registered users -- cloth diapering knitters and crocheters who come to gather, posting an average of 143 messages per day. We talk yarn, cloth diapering, knitting, crocheting, WAHM business, etc. Is this demographic of interest to you and your online business?
If you are not already registered with the forums, we invite you to join us and meet our cozy community. Registration is free, and so is listing your business in your signature and notifying the community of special sales. We are writing to you because members of our community recommended you as a WAHM they would like to see join us. When you feel comfortable within our community, maybe you would like to do a little more.
Like public radio and television, Wooly Wonder forums offers members the chance to “Put Your Money Where Your Mouse Is” and become supporting members of the forums. By becoming supporters, members will get special member benefits.
That's where you come in. You can become a partner with Wooly Wonder Forums by offering a special discount or coupon to supporting members. For example, one partner offers supporting members 10% off in her shop with a special coupon code. Members will be likely to patronize businesses offering special discounts, free shipping, etc. Plus, your business's name will be circulated with our membership materials, drawing attention to your website. Partnership has no fees or costs aside from the benefit you decide you would like to provide. You are always welcome to become a paid member as well.
We'd love to have you as a partner shop.
Please contact Amy Pezzoni (amy@woolywonder.com), our volunteer in charge of business partner donations. Amy and I can answer any questions you might have.
Additionally, to find out more about advertising opportunities you can look

Thank you very much!
Sincerely,
Pamela Grossman

A mass PM/email is a good idea! Although, I don't mind emailing folks individually. I'm about halfway through recording information in my spreadsheet, and then I'll start sending out emails. :)
