Anyone know of a good site with directions on adding a gusset? I want to try to add one to my pants, but can't find anyhting on the web. I searched here and didn't come up with anything either. TIA!

I think the best route is to buy a pattern here. :) I haven't ever seen a free gusset pattern on the web.

I can tell you how I make the gusset on my pants, if that helps. When I'm ready to start it, I divide by two for front and back ex: 80/2=40 and place markers. Then, I divide that number by two and subtract 1 ex: 40/2-1=19. So, I knit the 19 sts, make an increase facing right, knit the next 2, make an increase facing left, knit to the marker and do the same thing in the back. Then, I just knit the next round. I do that over and over. The increase always comes after the 19th stitch, but there are more and more between the increases each time. When I have the number of stitches I want, I set up for the legs and grafting.
Now, that's how I do it, it may be completely wrong...

Thanks for the reply. I have a pair half finished now, I can't wait to see the final result when the pants are all finished :)
