I am a newbie to this yarn thing, so please bare with me. ;)
Where can I find the best natural yarn (to dye myself) for longies? I need something that will hold up to a heavy wetter, but it also fairly soft.
TIA!

People rave about Theresa's yarns at LTK :) I'm a Fisherman's and merino gal myself.

Merino is what you'd want for softness. If I ever get my dang yarn shipment I"ll be stocking 2 and 3 ply merino blend yarns again....finally

Cool!
What about LB Fishermen's? It seems pretty soft on the skein. Will it be okay for pants?
I also have 2 ply Bartlett that I just started with last night for a pair of pants. Should I make them for my older dd who can tell me how they feel?

I like lamb's pride. I didn't like it in the beginning, but now its my favorite for nighttime. Its very soft, but it does pill.
