I want some denim looking wool to make "bluejeans" for the babe. Who does it? where can I find it? How cna I do it? Any suggestions?

the denim in my farm yarn looks just like stonewashed jeans :) I'm thinking of working up a pair for macgregor (in that elusive 25th hour of my day, LOL!)

Yep, that's what I use. Joann has a sale going with free shipping over a certain amount as well. I easily get a pair of shorts from one skein.

So what is the scratchy factor on the Paton's yarn? Anyone know?

Very soft, it's 100% merino - it can be kinda fuzzy at times actually. I lightly felt mine which makes a nice dense fabric and I think it cuts down on pilling and stretching.
Cascade 220 has one that looks just like it on the card but I haven't seen it in person.
