I was wondering how everyone might feel about having a pattern review forum? I know that I would find it really helpful - people could post about different patterns they've tried - difficulty level, pattern comprehension, fit, etc. Whaddya think?

We do have a pattern forum! You can post your reviews there! Do you think it's worth a separate subforum for reveiws?

I would love a pattern review forum that was seperate. It is hard to know what to buy and what not to buy. Sometimes a person needs more information than what is listed in the pattern description. I think the fit thing would be most helpful. All babies are shaped differently and if I saw a pattern review that said "this pattern is great but the legholes are a bit small for my very chunky toddler" then I would know that pattern would not be a good fit for my child. However if I saw "this pattern fits my budda bellied child perfect" then I would know the pattern stands a good chance of fitting my child too. I think it could save a lot of frustration on the part of the buyer :)

Me neither, I think I'd be afraid to hurt feelings.

i think i'd use it. i am thinking moreso of books though, like, "Debbie bliss patterns are XYZ or Fibertrends are ABC". But I can see the value in specific patterns being reviwed too.

With regards to hurting feelings, I'm not looking for "this pattern stinks" but more about how easy/hard the pattern is, the way the item fits (particularly for diaper knitting) and maybe something like if it's similar enough to another pattern that you should really just choose one. Maybe your fave points about the pattern - options, customization, etc. etc.

So would there be some type of form for people to fill out and post in that forum? Or would it be open format?
