The title says it all. I bought wool yarn and have no patterns for knitting in the round. Can anyone help me? I will pay, just need a pattern.

Thanks,
Theresa

Karen has some links to patterns on this page, too: http://diaperpages.com/soaker.php

I highly recommend Pam's Wooly Wonder patterns. LTK Picky Pants are really easy, knit up fast and make great longies too!

Let us know what you choose! :)

PICS! I think the live journal one VISUALLY looks a bit like wooly wonders. Unsure about the pattern...what did you think?

The Live Journal was the first and only soaker that I have made and I was totally clueless. Thank God for my LYS!! They walked me thru this one and I will be making more of these, now that I "get" it.

I ended up buying the Wonderpants pattern and I am going to have a look tonight.

Wish me luck,
Theresa

Short rows are when you just knit part of the way around the garment......(Instead of a 'full long row' you knit a short one....)

That is what makes the back of a soaker taller...so you don't get plumber's crack on your baby.

LMBO!! If it is one thing I cannot stand, it is plumber's crack. Can you add short rows to other patterns?

Yes you can...Now patterns with the legs to the front (soakers here) by their very construction have more height in the back....

The perfection pants of Pamela's have this neato set of zigzag short rows that really help with teh 'crack' exposure problem.
