That website has some nice patterns. The tutu would be cute...if I had a GIRL!

My first project was a blanket from that site. It is listed under Knitting Patterns For Infants titled Child's Knit Blanket. Here is a picture of it in RL:

I wish ALL yarn manufacturers had free patterns for their yarn...then again, no I don't, because I would have excuses for buying it. ;)

I would be on a site like elann.com and see some yarn that looked interesting. Then I would search for the manufacturers web site and they wouldn't have patterns, or if they did they were pattern books for purchase. I don't want to pay a lot of money for yarn and patterns unseen and then not like anything. Since I'm relatively new to knitting, I'm not too comfortable with yarn substitution, or figuring out what this nice yarn could be used for (other patterns).

LionBrand just released a couple new ones! And they have two new fun embellishing yarns too!

Cool! Since starting to knit in June, I have been wanting to try out the ribbon yarns I've seen. I just have to find a pattern that I like. :)
