I could not bring myself to spend so much on it, so I decided to give it a shot, and it works really well! Thought I would share...I put a little water, lanolin, and wool soap(eucalan-I find it dissolves lanolin best) and lavender drops, and heated till dissolved(white). Added to spray bottle. Works like a dream. The top layer will collect and look yellow, but when you shake it, it totally reabsorbs with no beads, etc. If you have tiny beads, maybe try a diff soap or more, and re-heat. The stuff I made does not bead up once it was properly heated once. Just shaking solves any seperation! I think the hard part is figuring out how much lanolin to use-I think you can tell if you have too much or too little after you spray it, LOL! I like to err on the side of too much! Anyhow, it has saved some time...dh hated the lanolizing-I'd have a bowls all over the counter for hours, LOL! Anyhow, not sure if this has been discussed! That lanolin spray at Monkey Sudz looks luscious, but I could not afford it, LOL! :)

Sweet!! My only question is what kind of spray bottle are you using?(I can't afford monkey suds either, :LOL) I'm figuring that perhaps a cheap bottle would cause the lanolin to clog it??? Great idea though!

1 of those simple dharma dye-spray bottles works!
I love making my own. I put a little calendulan-oil in too. It helps with DS' rash.
