On your cloth? I saw it at Target the other day and thought it might be nice. Haven't given it a try though.
What else do folks wash their cloth in? I've always had a tough time with build up on our diapes. I'd finally found a detergent (Ecos) that didn't cause build up and the store that sells it went out of business. :( So now I'm back to build up problems and I'm trying to find something else.

Have you tried Sport Wash? You can get it in the camping department of Walmart, next to the bug repellant stuff. Here it is about $4 a bottle and the bottle is rather small. But I use about half a cap full (the suggestion 1 full cap) per load of diapers. It makes about 28 loads? I think. Anyways, I still did a double rinse but it wasn't as bad as using Cheer which we use for the rest of our laundry.

We use Bi-O-Kleen Premium Plus for diapers, and ECO for clothing. We've used it for years, works great!!
Don't you just LOVE that ECO?!?! I mean, it has EO of lillies and magnolias!! What's not to love! :love
Sorry, haven't used anything else to offer an opinion. Maybe you could mail order once a month for something?

I actually haven't tried any of the three you ladies have recommended. I try to avoid WalMart. I generally don't like to give them my business. Can you only find Bio Kleen and 7th generation online?
I did so love the Ecos. ::sigh::
Maybe I'll grab some of the Method soap this week and see if that works out. What else can it do to my diapes, right? :rolleyes I'm so sick of build up.

There's also Dr. Bronner's soaps. I used that exclusively before the others. All it takes is a squirt in the machine, and they smell good, and believe it or not... they're SOOO soft! Try
www.wholefoodsmarket.com (I think they do mail ordering)
www.bi-o-kleen.com (they may ship to you?)
www.drbronners.com
ETA: You can buy it cheaper online at their site! Also, I highly recommend ALMOND and LAVENDER!! I use these with a little water and baking soda to clean my house, too!! No chemicals, all lovely smells, and clean too! ;) Maybe I should work in sales?! :LOL
I'd be happy to pick something up for you and ship it. Might be a lil' heavy, but if you got the HUGE bottle of Dr. B's, it would last well over a month.

I use Dr. Bronners Sal Suds and 7th Generation Lavender HE. I haven't tried Method. It always tempts me when I'm at Target. I resist because it feels like its marketed to be more natural than it really is.

I'm using Method on my dipes right now, and honestly it isn't the godsend I thought it would be. No different for us than any other free and clear. I'm going to switch to Dawn as soon as I can find some. :LOL

Dishsoap, Nikki. ;)
Julia, by any other free and clear, do you mean you're getting build up or not? Or you just mean it's not that great as a 'natural' cleaner?
ETA:
I'm selling off some of my yarn stash on Ebay right now. I think once I get some PayPal, I'll try some Dr. Bronner's. It looks yummy!

Here's the link: Clickie Clickie (http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfrppZ50QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQrdZ0QQsassZgoddessQ2 drags)
There's not a lot there, really. Just stuff I know I won't be using any time soon. ;)

Yeah, I mean we still get buildup occasionally and it isn't that great of a cleaner. I wouldn't use it on my normal clothes ;)

Thanks, Julia. I guess I won't bother getting it then.

We use Method HE on our dipes and clothes. Haven't had any problems with build up. One thing I did notice - the harder the water, the better it works.

We use MelaPower. No builup yet. Plus it gets out the toughest stains, like grease, from my dh.
