Do you cover your cloth??

I always see pics of kiddos in cloth with no cover... do you cover your cloth up?? Ds mostly wears prefolds and one pee and it's starting to come through the diaper... I always cover because, well, I don't want to be holding him and get soaked!!

Yup, I cover. Especially now that I have a cute crochet cover from Patti to show off!

We go coverless when we're at home. That way I know when he's wet so I change him right away. I always check before I pick him up so I make sure I don't get wet. It helps keep his diaper rash to a minimum (actually - keeps it away) since he has very sensitive skin. Now I see rash only once every couple weeks or so instead of every day.

Usually he has a soaker on... but sometimes he goes coverless. Just depends on my mood. :pezfrog

we were keeping maya coverless pretty much the whole time we were in italy - heat and no AC made her heat rashy, especially on her hips, for some reason ( i always get heat rash in the same spot - odd).

now that we're back to AC i usually put a cover on her. i had some unpleasant sudden needs to change my clothing if i was holding her when she made things go all moist so i like to avoid that when possible.

usually right after a bath i leave her coverless for a bit, so she gets nice and airy :)

Brayden is usually naked, but when he has a dipe on he has a cover on.

And don't EVER make the mistake of putting a soaker on w/out a diaper.....I dropped DS off at preschool. DD said she had to go potty...I had just changed her before leaving the house....20 mins earlier....She was wet so I figured I could slip the soaker on....get to the car and put a diaper under it......Well in the 5 minutes it took to get DS situated.....I figure I can spare you the details.....It was no fun washing my LTK soaker that night! (And any other cover- not a soaker and I would have just thrown it OUT!)

We have A/C but, yes, our home is a home of frequent nudity too!!!
SOmething about running naked, even my 5 year old has to do at most times.... :faint

Isabella goes coverless about 1/2 the time around the house. She has nakey time in the evenings after bath-time, but she is such a frequent piddler that it would be dangerous to let her run around naked too much!
My 2 year old, on the other hand, is naked most of the time!

Dominic goes coverless whenever I'm feeling lazy and naked when I'm feeling especially lazy. :lol:

My DH the SAHD, refuses to use knitted soakers, and actually uses all PUL. When I'm home its usually a cover too, but I use wool!

my boy usually wears a cover, but sometimes he goes coverless for a little while. Hes a big time soaker though, so if its coverless, I have to be right on top of it.
