Well, my name is Katie. I'm a SAHM to 7 week old twin girls (pardon any typos, we're nursing @ the moment) I love to knit soakers. Since I bought my first soaker pattern I've knitted 13 or 14. I bought my pattern 2 weeks before the girls were born- they were 2 weeks "overdue" and in that 2 weeks I knitted 10 soakers.... Knitting doesn't induce labor needless to say. I'm still knitting them, and have since come up with my own pattern which I'm enjoying. Thinking that I need to get a longies pattern so that I can do something other than soakers!

I know this is geeky - replying to your own post, but how'd I get to be the "little lamb"? Don't get me wrong, I love sheep, big fan of wool too! Just wondering....

Unfortunately, no. I haven't tried the Wooly Wonder yet - but I'm very curious about the Everlasting Wonder Soaker. I'm using the Little Turtle Knits pattern. I've modified it quite a bit though, by this time. It's very easy and a good one, but there were a few things I wanted to be different. I'm thinking very seriously about grabbing the Holy Sheep pattern. I also want to get into knitting shorts and longies. They're so cute. I almost joined the last Wonder Soaker class, with the intention of making them for sale, but decided that I wanted the girls to be just a bit older before I tackled making them for other people. Sigh, maybe next time!
