Tana - pronounced like Donna except with a T (in case you were wondering)
I taught myself how to knit just so I could make Ben a wool soaker. Now, 7 soakers later, I'm trying to figure out how to knit continental style so I can be faster. Effeciency is my middle name. However, I love knitting because it is like meditation - I solve more problems while I knit so why should I be concerned about speed?
I keep telling myself I need to branch out. However, sweaters look terribly boring to me. I think that perhaps I shall try some socks, but that means buying another needle and some more yarn, both of which require some $$. I did make dh a beer bottle sweater for Father's Day that I designed myself and use extra wool yarn from my soakers to make. Perhaps by the time I use up the rest of my wool scraps making beer bottle sweaters, I will have saved enough pennies to start knitting socks.
