Hey Gals! I'm looking for someone to work closely with me on forum membership. I'm talking about the paid memberships that help fund the forums, not just the basic free memberships!
We'll have our next membership drive in November, and I want to have everything just perfect and running smoothly by then. Are you the mama for the job? Here's my requirement list:
I need someone who is willing to dedicate time to this project up to and through our November fundraising drive. There is plenty of time to proceed at a leisurely pace, but I want someone who can touch base with me about progress casually on a daily basis, and formally on a weekly basis.
Coordinator should have a strong comfort level with computers, some design knowlege or html, ability to work with databases.
You must have excellent communication skills.
It would be nice to have someone who is a forum 'regular' on this job.
I think the most important attribute is dedication.
What will this person do?
make sure the systems are in place for people to sign up and pay for memberships
advertise the membership drive
round up a membership committee for support
come up with a theme for the drive
work with a designer to get banners and buttons made for the event
contact our current business partners and make sure they are still onboard for the next year
get all the new members into our database properly
solicit new business parnters for member discounts
organize a drawing to be held at the end of the drive
come up with other great ideas and implement them!
