Ok, no one has a bad reputation! What is reputation? From here:
reputation info (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/reputation_intro)
User Reputation in its simplest form is a ranking of your user's benefit to your forum. Its basis comes from the opinions of all of your forum users that choose take part in it.
Users gain and lose reputation based on how their posts are scored by other forum participants. Users with the ability to affect reputation, will either give or take aways points by approving or disapproving with a post's content.
User reputation can be a derisive element of your forum so great care should be taken before a decision is made to enable it.
All of the factors that affect a user's reputation score are found in the User Reputation section of the vBulletin Options. Please view that section of the manual for more information on controlling how users are able to affect another user's reputation.
Except, I've disabled the negative thingy, so you can only add to karma, not delete it. And you can leave a comment! AND you read your comments in your user cp. So, since we lost all the Karma stuff, you can start spreading the REPUTATION love! Maybe we can change it to 'Karma'... I dunno.

Man I am glad we don't have that on one of my other forums...I would surely be in the negatives with all kinds of negative feed back...I am such a trouble maker (well I just can't keep my opinions to myself!

It's not a forum... see the little scale thingy in the lower left hand corner of each post? And the "Rep Power" is how many points you give someoen when you give them 'reputation' The more you post, and the more rep you have, the more you can give.
Get it?

I think they get tired of the fact that my brain is full of all sorts of trivial information and I share it freely. (I have about 15-20 years of life experience more than most of them too.)
Actually where I am currently on the 'hot seat' is our discussion about antidepressants and ppd...Thank you Tom Cruise.
OOOOH I should be careful there are people on this forum and that one.

I have a question about this.
I click on the scale on my own post to tell me how many points I have and it says I have 6. I see you left me 1 comment. Do we know how many point each is and why is it showing me at 0 if I have 1 comment and 6 points?

your rep power is how many points you can give when you click someone. it shows under your name, next to the box.
Register Date Factor
For every 365 number of days, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.
(past days dont seem to factor in??)
Post Count Factor
For every 100 number of posts, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.
Reputation Point Factor
For every 100 points of reputation, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

you see how many have been left on your usercp page, some will have comments and some wont
you can see how many points you have to give by clicking on the scale.
I assume if you are subscribed to any threads it would be located under those.

why are some rep "buttons" green and other not even when both people have some rep?
Do the green buttons signify that there was a comment left?

Aha! I found y'all. I didn't see anything in the FAQ, and figured I would need to find a post from someone else as curious as me. :)
So does that mean we can't give Karma once an hour? We have to have 100 posts first?

I Changed the reputation button to the little fluffy! Now we can give good karma fluffies instead of the scale of reputation judgement!! lol
If you have a different icon suggestion, LMK!!

so, until you have reputation, your square is black. the more reputation you have, the more green squares you have.
it should show your reputation points, don't know why that isn't there.
No one has negative reputation!~

Are you clicking on the fluffy for someone else? I don't think you are allowed to give yourself more reputation. Also, if click someone else to soon after last giving them reputation, it won't let you leave more.
