Does your DH use flats?

Since you guys are more helpful than the diapering board over at MDC...does your DH use flats? Just wondering...

No, but he wouldn't use prefolds either. He is not totally on board with cloth, so I had to make it as user friendly as possible for him to use it. So, we used a lot of fuzibunz, HH and a few fitteds for Charlie.

I am slowly breaking him in with Meredith :)

nope, mine doesn't either, unless they've been prestuffed into a fuzzibunz, LOL! After 6 years of continuous diapering, DH really at this point refuses to do the cloth diaper thing. So, on the occasions when he changes greg's diaper (maybe 4 or 5 times a week, total?) Greg usually winds up in a disposable unless I am right there with CD in hand to give to him. :p

Flat, no. Prefold, Yes.

At first he was very "that's fine if you want to do it, but don't expect me to" Then as time went on he changed more and more cloth diapers. Hubby's preferred Diaper...

Premium Prefold, Snappi, Bummis SWW.

Without fail, he will bypass the LL AIO, The Wonderoo, The Fitted/cover combo and go straight for the snappi. So much for trying to make it easier. I prefer the others cause it's easier to do it all in one step. My MIL, won't even use a snappi, she insists on prefolds and pins. :lol:

We don't really use flats much here, but DH actually prefers prefolds. If I leave him with anything else, he asks me "how the heck am I supposed to put this on!" :LOL:

:lol: my dh doesn't change nappies, and on the very rare occasion when he can't bear the smell of s**t long enough to wait for me to come back he invariably uses disposables, leaves the cloth inside the wrap (most annoying if it's wool) doesn't air the wrap and leaves it all in a heap somewhere 'near' but not in the nappy bucket. Just don't tell this to any of our nappy buying customers who ask him for advice ;).

dh can't use pins and all of my flats are not snappi friendly. he's great with everything else. his favorite is wonderoos, but suedecloth doesn't work for us anymore. hmm. hasn't for AWHILE. i need to get rid of those things. :LOL

anyways...pfs, yes. flats, only if they could be snappied.

we have no flats, but Nick would be up to it if we did. He has no fear of the prefold or the snappi. He's been very supportive of our using cloth for the girls....I think in the beginning from a cost perspective, but now sposies are just icky to us. He even knows the washing routine and how to use wool (ok, he doesn't wash the wool, but it's because I prefer to wash it myself)
