Button Jointed Doll?

And How do I do this???

Ok, I'm doing the Doll from the doll class, but am using a different pattern. I "thought" the pattern I had was for a Button Jointed doll, but aparently not. So..it says how to sew on the arms (just sew through) now to do a button, do I just sew through a button between the arm and body? Please help!

You can put the buttons on the outside or inside of the arm. Double up strong string and thread all the way through the body, through the buttons on the other arm, so it's one continual string. Make sense?
