Can someone walk me through adding drawstring holes to a soaker pattern? I am a bit confused. I know it is yarn over but maybe you can walk me through the whole process? Thanks!

On 2x2 ribbing, I do mine sort of in the middle of the ribbing, but that part is up to you. ;) I k2, k2tog, yo all the way around. The yo is just bringing the yarn forward like you're going to purl and then knitting the next two stitches, k2tog, yo....

I've found to get the right number of 'holes' for the drawstring that I do an odd number of multiples of four and then skip the last 'hole' before you get back to the beginning of round marker.

I think someone posted a while back about another way they make the holes, but my brain is a sieve at the moment.

I've done them that way too. But now I prefer no drawstring holes at all and I just weave the drawstring evenly through the ribbing (I count the # of sts from the bottom of the ribbing to ensure the drawstring is even all the way around) :)

so no purling? And just one round, then back to regular ribbing?

I place my drawstring holes between the ribbing and the body - instead of m1 increases I do yarn overs. Be sure to count the number of increases so that you end up with an even number of holes. If you have an uneven number, I find the front center and instead of a YO increase, use a M1 increase.
