Cincinnati knitters?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for knitters in Cinci, especially those with kids about 6 years or younger for a combination playdate/knitting circle. Jules doesn't nap anymore, and the afternoons can get pretty long. I'd love to find her a playmate close to her age (4). And if we can knit while we're watching the kids play, that would be perfect!

So anyone in Cinci up for a gathering? I work FT during the day, so it would have to be a Saturday or Sunday. In the afternoon, around 2 or so.

I pm'd you. I am definitely interested, but Charlie is only ~2.5 yrs. He would be a good playmate for Isaac.

You know I have some friends who live in your neighborhood with a 4 year old and an 18 month old daughters. I could invite her along too (although she doesn't knit, but we could convert her...insert evil laugh).

I'd love to join you when I'm visiting my parents, but they're more likely to come visit me. Anwyn is almost 2, so she's not old enough to play with Jules either. :(

Hey Melissa ~ that sounds awesome! Too bad Isaac will most likely be napping the whole time. Depending on whether dh is around or not, it may just have to be at our place, but if he can stay home, we can meet at a park or something. My thought is to keep it somewhat stationary so that knitting can occur ;) A playground or our backyard seems to work well, at least in good weather. Do you have a parks pass? Winton Woods is close-by to us too.
