I am just starting to explore this and wondered if anyone had any advice, books, or websites to recommend?

I got a booklet called "The complete natural dyeing guide" that is pretty good basic info. Ithink I got it at Michaels, might have been ACMoore. Got recipes for making dyes from garden flowers (warning, you need a LOT of flowers, LOL!) and lots of other good tips.

Thanks Theresa! I am thinking about getting the book "Wild Color" from Amazon--does anyone have that one?

I've been looking into natural dyeing too. I'll post my list I've compiled...once I find it

I've got Wild Colors, its a great book.
I've done some dyeing with indigo, logwood, osage, and several things things I have collected like friut leaves (cherry was the best) and different barks.
the only thing I am worried about is how the colors might change when the soaker is wet, kwim?
I am thinking a quick ammonia dip would help
any ideas?
