A choice is available on the User CP to enable an audio message when you have a new PM. I've always had mine set to "No", so I had no idea that there were some inappropriate audio files playing on some mama's computers especially when the kids were around. I'm working on disabling the code for the audio files, but for now, I have deleted the inappropriate files from the forums.

Ok, I have never heard any sound when PMs come in, I guess I have it disabled too. However, I am extremely curious to know what kind of sound(s) could possibly be so bad, :LOL

Oh, LOL. Some were funny, but others used cursing and several were sexually suggestive. The code just picks one at random, so you could suddenly have the page tell you to read your f*ckin email when your children were in the room. Not cool.

Yeah I wondered about those :LOL DH fixed the sound (though he's hidden the volume controls :eyeroll) so one night I got Cartman or something really loud :LOL

I didn't get any of the ones with profanity but I did get some of the sexually suggestive ones. I was wondering if my DH was thinking I was looking at porn sites :LOL:
